Passione Cello Strings

Passione is a Gut String for the Cello that offers increased stability. It is manufactured, wound, and polished by hand in the traditional way. The Passione cello strings are known for their brilliant sound, enormous possibilities with a wide range of sounds, and surprisingly flexible nature. The G-string is wound with chrome steel, while the C-string is wound with tungsten.
Pirastro’s Passione cello strings have a greater tuning stability compared to other gut strings available in the market. They produce complex overtones, brilliance, and projection. The A and D strings have a steel core, while the G and C strings are hand-wound on a gut core.
