Calvert Five String Strad Model Violin is made from the ground up as a 5-String. The neck is extra wide and measures 27.5mm at the nut. The pegbox is made longer to have generous room for that extra peg. Each violin is set-up with Helicore strings, Wittner 5-String tailpiece and a bridge that is adjusted so that each string is easy to play. The master maker graduates the plates so that you have extra depth that you need, the projection that you want and clean workmanship that you can be proud to show off.
